So Today is May 21st, 2020, and who knows what day of quarantine it is but we have finally got the time to create a website for our business. This blog page on our website is where we will be sharing more in-depth information about all the projects we have participated in.
The Beginning
A3 is a company that specializes in art based projects including murals, customizable art jobs as well as set design and painting. It was created by 3 founders (Akilah Watts, Alanis Forde, and Anna Gibson) who have been working together since 2016.
Two of the founders, (Akilah Watts and Alanis Forde) attended The West Terrace Primary School while the final founder, Anna Gibson attended Eden Lodge Primary School. Following primary school Watts and Gibson attended The Alexandra Secondary School while Forde attended The Coleridge and Parry Secondary School.
All 3 founders then attended The Barbados Community College to complete both their Associate Degree and BFA in Studio Art.
First Projects
While attending The Barbados Community College, Watts, Forde, and Gibson were approached by various teachers to complete group projects seeing as they worked extremely well together. Their first project together was a painting created for a tutor that was retiring after many years in the field of teaching. They then went on to creating their first mural together in 2016 for St Giles Primary School.
